The Fiji Women's Rights Movement invites you to participate in our online questionnaires and surveys:

  • Request for women to participate in a survey on their experience of bringing their family law and violence cases to the police and/or courts

Fiji Women’s Rights Movement (FWRM), supported by DFAT, the European Union, and United Nations Women, are collaborating in undertaking a research project: Balancing the Scales- Improving Fijian Women’s Access to Justice. The aim of the research is to improve women’s access to justice with a focus on family law matters and violence against women and children.

FWRM would like to learn from women with experience of bringing their family law and violence cases to the formal justice system during the past 5 years. FWRM will not keep a record of your name or any identifying details. The interview takes approximately an hour to complete.

FWRM would particularly like to hear from women living with a disability, women with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, sex workers and women facing financial hardship. Please email FWRM on if you would like to participate in this survey and FWRM will contact you to arrange a time for one of their research team to meet with you.
